Yes, you are able to bring 1 guest at an additional cost of $500.00 to cover travel and event expenses.

The suggested attire for the event is ‘smart casual’, which includes jeans.

Be sure to review the weather before traveling and the activities to pack appropriate attire.

You will receive an email communication outlining final event and travel details the week before the symposium.

In late August, you can expect day temperatures in the mid-60s with evening temperatures in the low 50s; however, be prepared for fluctuations in weather. You will receive a confirmation via email upon completion of registration with information to log back into your registration and make changes as needed. First, please check your spam to make sure it was not mislabeled as junk. If you did not receive a confirmation email, it is very likely that you did not complete all of the required fields on the registration form. Please revisit the website and complete your registration entirely by clicking “Submit” at the end to complete. All hotel requests should be made when completing the registration process. A room will be secured on your behalf. The room rate and tax for the event dates (Monday, August 25 – Thursday, August 28) will be covered by Spotify; all incidentals and personal extensions will be on own.

Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.

For hotel extensions, select your full hotel dates (including extended dates) during registration. Extensions are based on hotel availability and approval; all requests for extensions must be approved before confirming your travel plans. Your flights will not be booked until your hotel extension has been confirmed. You will be notified via email if your extension is approved. As a reminder, extended hotel stays are at your own expense and cannot be reimbursed unless otherwise approved.

Once you complete your registration, including your hotel request, you will receive a notification from the Spotify Events Team once your dates are approved and hotel availability is confirmed.

Cancellations for a sleeping room reservation must be received 72 hours prior to your check-in date including extensions. All cancellations need to be submitted in writing to [email protected]. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, you will be charged for the entire length of the reservation and cannot expense the cost.

Yes, the Surfsand Resort offers free parking to guests.

All flights will be booked through Unbridled Travel. You will enter your travel preferences during the registration process.

All travel dates and times will be based on the event travel parameters. Please plan to arrive into Portland International Airport (PDX) by 3:00 PM on Monday, August 25 and depart on flights after 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 28.

Unbridled Travel will email a proposed flight itinerary to you within 3-5 business days of successfully submitting your online registration. You will have 24 hours from receipt of the itinerary to approve your flight schedule; otherwise, your reservation will automatically be canceled.

If you have hotel extension dates pending approval, Unbridled Travel will send you a proposed itinerary once you have received confirmation that your extension dates have been approved.

Unbridled Travel will provide you with competitive airline rates. However, if you choose to book your own air travel, we advise that you book your air BEFORE completing your registration, so we can arrange your airport transportation. A $35.00 service fee per ticket will be added to your airfare.
